Yarn Along

I finished up "The Covered Wagon" yesterday afternoon while at the dentist's. The twins were having sealants put on so I got to sit, relax and read in the waiting room.

Not sure what to put this week for what I am reading. I am using a quilting book for a new quilt, and have been reading through that, so I am sticking that in here. I prepared to duck if any "Yarn Alongers" are ready to through tomatoes at me, for I've no clue if mixing quilting with knitting is sacrilegious or not.

Here is an updated pic of my New England Shawl. I figure I'm about 30% done, if that. I'm guessing I may have to add some extra repeats of the stitching pattern to make it bigger as I'm afraid it is coming out much smaller than I was imagining. Thankfully, I have plenty of yarn!
